It's Back for 2026 and the Derby Mega Family Fun Fair promises a great value day out for families from far and wide when it visits Markeaton Park from Saturday 28th March through until Sunday 12th March with over 20 rides and attractions.
"Best of all," says James Evans from Eventive Funtime, "the rides and attractions once inside the fun fair are all free for a one off admission charge of £14.99 for up to three hours of fantastic fun if you arrive at the start of a session!"
And it is the rides that are the biggest attraction, especially as guests can enjoy spin after hair-raising spin with an unlimited ride wristband on amazing attractions from white knuckle thrillers to wholesome family fun. Most spectacular is set to be the Avatar with guests spinning in outward facing suspended seats at 120 degrees for an exhilarating experience they'll never forget. The Midnight Express is a high speed ride simulating a Bob Sleigh Experience in swinging cars too!
Families will love the Dodgems, the Chairs or the Waltzer's while the Twister always proves popular with the families. There will also be a kids Roller Coaster the Runaway Train, a Fun House, and an amazing selection of children's rides.
Food and games, water balls and Bungee Trampolines are not included in the admission and are payable once inside the security controlled site so mum and dad can always enjoy a coffee while the kids are enjoying the rides.
Every day there will be 3 sessions from 12 Noon - 3.00pm, 2.00pm - 5.00pm, and 5.00pm - 8.00pm. Wristbands are on sale for a one off charge of £14.99. But just £9.99 if purchased on Skiddle before 26th March. Height restrictions apply on some attractions while non riding adults accompanying children who are sampling the attractions pay just £2.00.
