Danielle Burton is a historian, author and history blogger. She has have a First in History from and an MA in Public History and Heritage, both from the University of Derby. She specialises in little-known stories from history from roughly the fifteenth century to the early twentieth century, with a specialism for the Wars of the Roses and Georgian Periods. She has worked in heritage since 2016 and currently works as an Archive Assistant at the Derbyshire Record Office, as well as being a self-employed tour guide for Georgian Derby and Belper Tours. Her debut history book, a biography on Anthony Woodville, brother-in-law of Edward IV, entitled Anthony Woodville: Sophisticate or Schemer was published in February 2024.
