Coleridge-Taylor | African Dances Coleridge-Taylor | Nonet Kadiatu Kanneh-Mason | presenter Samuel Coleridge-Taylor was one of Britain’s foremost composers at the turn of the 20th century – but his works are only now getting the recognition they deserve.
His Nonet is a must-hear work of precocious genius, written when he was only 18. We also perform his four African Dances, evocative gems for violin and piano inspired by his African heritage.
