The Sitwell Singers are performing their Spring Concert 'Birthday Boys - Bruckner & Cornelius' on Saturday 20th April at 7:30pm at St Nicholas' Church, Allestree Lane, Derby DE22 2PE.
We are celebrating 200 brilliant years of the composers Anton Bruckner and Peter Cornelius. We will be singing some of Bruckner's most famous and best loved choral works, including Locus Iste, alongside those of his lesser-known contemporary Cornelius, and the stunningly beautiful music of Clara Schumann.
The choir will be conducted by our dynamic Musical Director, Dexter Drown, and accompanied by organist Tom Corfield and it promises to be an exciting evening of live chamber choral music.
