Join us as we enjoy a wander through the woods with other adult singles who enjoy being out and about in nature. This is not a dating event. As such, there is no guarantee of how many people will attend, what the age range is (although this event is for over 18's only) or what the male/female ratio is.
Please don't feel nervous to come along, everyone is made to feel very welcome. The plan is to walk whilst we talk and get to know each other. We will then sit around a small campfire (weather permitting) to rest, chat and have a drink . Your reasons for joining the walk are your own business unless you choose to share, but we do ask that you are definitely single!
Please be aware that whilst the distance we walk will not be too far, we will be walking over uneven woodland tracks, they are often muddy and there are some inclines. Shining Cliff Woods is a beautiful ancient woodland and an ideal place to meet up. The starting point will be the private woodland car park where Bonnie from Woodland Connections will be waiting to meet you.
When you book we will send detailed directions, please do refer to these rather than relying on a satnav as this will take you to the wrong end of the woods!
What will you need? A drink, snack and something to sit on so that we can sit and chat after walking. Warm layers and a waterproof. Sturdy footwear. The woodland paths are uneven and often muddy.
Need to know: There is no toilet on our walk. Wild wee behind a tree are the only facilities! Please aim to arrive in time for the walk to start promtly. Unfortunately, we will not be able to wait to begin our walk as we will not have time to finish the route if we do. So please ensure that you have checked the directions in your booking confirmation and phone if you get a little lost.
Do not rely on a sat nav as this will take you to the wrong end of the woods. Our walk goes ahead in any weather except for high winds and lightening storms. If we need to cancel for this reason we will let you know and you will be given a full refund. Please be aware that if you cancel we cannot refund after booking unless we can fill your place.
