Following the success of his 2022 Christmas show, JOHN TAMS brings an all new Christmas show to Belper.
CELLULOID - in 1976 film crews visited events in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. The resulting film features New Year rituals, many of which are hundreds of years old. Expect singing, guns, fire and something akin to Shrovetide football.
Narrated by John Tams. CELEBRATION AND JOY: Accompanied by Pete Bullock, John Tams brings seasonal celebrations in song and spoken word to St Peter's Church, Belper. Join in the carols and the traditional Christmas music. And there's every chance you'll head home with a huge smile on your face.
