HOW YOU DOIN’, BUXTON? Friends: The Musical Parody Serves Big Laughs and Bigger Nostalgia at Buxton Opera House

Friends: The Musical Parody hits the stage at Buxton Opera House this week, running until Saturday 14th February, and takes audiences on a two-hour trip straight back to the nineties.

The show is cleverly staged as a live TV recording, complete with a warm-up guy, onstage cameras, and plenty of audience participation, instantly pulling the crowd into the action.

The production features a small but insanely talented cast who bring our favourite Friends to life in a brilliant blend of nostalgia and laugh-out-loud comedy. Each actor captures their character with spot-on precision and impeccable comic timing, as the show races through all ten seasons of Friends in just two energetic acts.

Iconic costumes and familiar sets are paired with show-stopping musical numbers that celebrate fan-favourite moments and characters - from Marcel to Smelly Cat (or “Mom” in this case!). Even
Janice gets her own belter of a song, and yes, it’s every bit as loud and glorious as you’d hope.

Friends: The Musical Parody is a must-see in Buxton this week for any fan of the classic TV hit.
