This year, Cold Feet and The Masked Singer star John Thomson will take to the stage as the wicked sorcerer Abanazar alongside our very own award-winning Best Dame Morgan Brind.
Aladdin wishes the Princess would notice him, Princess Amirah wishes she could lead a normal life, Aladdin's mother wishes she could remember what she came in here for...and there’s something very peculiar about that ancient clapped-out rusty thing. (The lamp... not his mother.)
Let Derby LIVE and Little Wolf Entertainment whisk you away this Christmas to the town of Shangri-La where Aladdin and his mother, Widow Twankey dream of a better life. Lurking in the shadows the wicked sorcerer Abanazar has his heart set on world domination. It’s down to Aladdin, with a bit of help from his faithful friend Marmaduke the monkey, to save the day.
Prepare for a globe-trotting and action-packed adventure where the caves are full of surprises and even the genies have been bottling things up for a bit. Not to mention the spectacular sets and costumes, breathtaking special effects and a large Christmas helping of mayhem and mischief.
