Déda is a centre for Dance, Movement and Creativity, located in the heart of Derby and connecting locally, nationally and internationally.
Déda has something for everyone, hosting 50 dance and movement classes each week for all ages and abilities and presenting over 70 performances annually in their 124 seat Theatre. Déda has a café, free visual arts exhibitions and are part of local festivals including Format Photography Festival and Derby Book Festival. It also hosts a BA (Hons) Dance degree and an MA Dance and Choreography in partnership with the University of Derby, and delivers projects across Derby in hard to reach communities, low income areas and healthcare settings using dance to enrich people's lives.
