Charnwood Forest Alpacas is located in Boundary, a hamlet nestled on the Leicestershire
and Derbyshire border and situated on the outskirts of Ashby-de-la-Zouch.
The 110 acre farm at Charnwood Forest Alpacas is one of the first, original and largest alpaca farms open to the public in the UK. They are passionate about sharing the wonderful personalities of not just the alpacas, but all of the animals at the farm, and offer experiences with lots of the animals to help share their passion with you.
You are also very welcome to walk the ‘farm walk’ at your own pace to meet the alpacas, horses, donkeys, sheep, pigs, chickens, cats and to visit The Chilli Bean for a quick drink and a bite to eat or tasty afternoon tea!
Please note: The Alpaca Walk experience is not suitable for children aged 4 and under (and possibly for children aged up to 6) due to a walking requirement of up to 90 minutes, in sometimes rough terrain. All children aged 4 and under must be in a carrier and (or any age that staff are concerned with their ability to complete up to 90 minutes of walking) will not be permitted to attend the experience without a carrier.
0-4 years old - Carrier Required. Free no ticket required.
0-9 years old* - free, no ticket required (*must be accompanied by 1 paying adult (18+); ratio of child to adult 1:1)
